CONTACT:
One of the major reasons people come to therapy is to get help improving their relationships. Humans are fundamentally relational creatures. Relationships that are unsupportive, conflicted, abusive can lead to significant emotional distress and difficulties functioning in daily life. Even feeling that you have lost a connection that you once had can lead to emotional challenges. If most of your relationships are problematic (with significant other, peers, co-workers), we will likely focus on improving your interpersonal awareness and skills. If only one of your relationships is in trouble (e.g., with your significant other), individual therapy can be very effective, but couples or family sessions may be recommended.
